Dwayne Goertzen Senior Pastor
Pastor Dwayne grew up in the home of an Evangelical Free Church Pastor. He accepted Jesus Christ into his life as a child. After high school, he attended Prairie Bible College and graduated with a Bachelor of Theology Degree.
Pastor Dwayne loves sports of all kinds, puzzles and home renovations.
He served the Evangelical Free Churches of Blue River and Fort St. John before coming to Smithers in 1996. Dwayne is married to his life-long companion, Marlena. They have 3 married children and five grandchildren.

Joshua Green Associate Pastor
Pastor Joshua was divinely called to be pastor at a very young age but chose to follow his own path. As a skateboarder in his mid-twenties, he came to experience the disastrous effects of sin and finally submitted his life to Jesus Christ. Joshua studied Koine Greek at Rocky Mountain College and attended Taylor Seminary, graduating with a Master of Divinity Degree.
Joshua loves reading his Greek New Testament, spending time with Janelle and the kids, running, and skateboarding.
Before attending seminary, he served as a missionary in Egypt and in skateboard ministry at the Tegler Youth Centre in Edmonton. Joshua Married the love of his life, Janelle, in 2011. They have three children, Moses, 9; Agape, 7; and Chara, 1.The Greens came to Smithers in December 2022.

Susan Sznufnarwicz Administrative Assistant
Susan is our administrative assistant. A long-time resident of the Bulkley Valley, she has served on Telkwa's municipal council and worked in various businesses throughout the Bulkley Valley. She has been a driving force in the Sunday School program at this church for many, many years.
Susan is married to Steve, with whom she enjoys being the parent of two adult children and grandparents to three very delightful grandkids.
